Neo Verona
Although the city continues to grow, it has never faced a darker year.
The city's current ruling noble family, The Capulets, had taken power when they personally led a revolt on the old ruling family, The Montagues.
Only with the help of his guardian, young Romeo de Montague, barely old enough to speak, fled his family estate, and survived what was called the Montague Massacre.
Without an eligible heir, The Montagues lost their place as Neo Verona's ruling family to The Capulets.
And ever since, Neo Verona has been plagued with misfortune.
It has been 15 years since the Montague Massacre.

Part 4
Lit with light reds and shades of rose, young Juliet lay on her oversized canopy bed, staring into the overly ornate fabric draped across the upper space.
She turned her head on her pillow, and she looked out the open balcony doors.
Juliet never felt comfortable in her room, or anywhere in the castle.
Pampered, spoiled with royal luxuries, while outside the castle courtyard doors a town full of people, tortured and burdened by taxes, fed her loathed luxuries.
Juliet rose from her bed, and in frustration, took a rose colored hand pillow from her bed and threw it against the wall.
She felt disgusted with her father, with Neo Verona!
She joined the guard to make a difference, but her voice was never heard by her father, her passion to help the people fell on deaf ears.
If only i could escape, she often thought, then i could live without this burgundy prison.
Juliet stared at the pillow for a moment, deciding whether or not to pick it up.
Sighing to herself, Juliet took the few delicate steps to the pillow, and plucked it up from the ground.
Why? I hate every little reminder of my royalty. A Highborn Maiden indeed!
The world stopped spinning for a moment as a flood of today's memories rushed in.
Romeo accusing her of being to delicate, her father rebuking her concern for the people, Romeo's warm breath...
Juliet shook her head, sending her hair rustling over her ears.
Romeo Romeo Romeo! She had just got his face out of her mind when she laid down in her bed.
The sole heir of the Montague family had haunted her thoughts all day.
His bravery in the face of her lord father, his daring skill and control over a sword, his gentle voice, all slapping Juliet's cursed heritage back into her face with a bitter taste.
He is a Montague, and she is a Capulet.
Love cant form between these two! That is what she was conditioned to believe in, what with her father's unconditional loath for the Montague line.
Juliet fell back into her bed, running her fingers up her face, now realizing she would spend all night vainly attempting to flush the young Montague out of her dreams.
Not for the last time, Juliet cursed being born a Capulet.
